3 Days Exceptional Safari Experience
Overview
Semuliki National Park/Lower Rwenzori Mountains & Semuliki Wildlife Reserve.
Day to Day Program
Day 1:
- Begin at 7:00 am from Fort Portal and stop at KazingoTrading Centre to begin the hike in the lower Rwenzori Ranges
- Hike through hills, valleys with amazing views of the Mountains, the rift valley and Lake Albert.
- The hike is 6/7 hours, stop in a local village for lunch and interaction.
- Descend in the Semuliki National Park late evening, relax, shower and dinner, if you have strong light, you can go for a short walk on the main road which is through the Forest to see the Nocturnal life, Moths, Bats, Nightjars etc.Night in a Banda in the Semuliki National Park.
Day 2:
- Explore the National Park, Bird watching, explore the Hot Springs and the
Forest.Return in the afternoon and depart for the Semuliki Wildlife Reserve.
- Drive through the Reserve and spot some Animals such as Uganda Kob, Water bucks and Elephants.Night in Ntoroko fishing village by Lake Albert.
Day 3:
- Begin an early morning Bird walk along Lake Albert; you will likely see Water Birds such as Saddle Bill Stork, the Cormorants, Kingfishers, and many grassland species such as Bee Eaters, Shrikes etc., Breakfast, the head out for a long game drive. Packed launch will be in the Wild, later drive back to Fort Portal arriving by 4:00 pm.
