Day to Day Program

Day 1: Kampala To Bwindi

Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi Gorilla Park, have lunch on the way, see the Uganda Equator then stay at mid-range Rushaga Gorilla Camp or budget Gorilla Friends Resort.

Day 2: Morning Gorilla Tracking In Bwindi

After breakfast leave for gorilla tracking with your packed lunch to track the rare mountain gorillas of Bwindi, have tracking gears with you like gloves, long-sleeved shirts, pants, sunglasses, socks, a hut insect repellant, energy-giving food, and enough drinking water. After 10 minutes transfer from your hotel to the starting point for briefing proceed to our tracking which is open from 2-6 hours of activity once you find these gentle intelligent apes, you spend a full hour with them.return to the lodge ,relax and do an evening community walk to catch up with the local lifestyle.

Day 3: Transfer To Fort Portal

Drive to Fort Portal through Queen Elizabeth National Park.you drive through the ishsaha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park that is a home of the tree climbing Lions.you will encounter several animals crossing like elephants,buffalos ,water bucks, and lots of birds.enroute Lunch in kasese town.evening arrival to your hotel in fort portal.Night at Rwenzori view Guest house or shevys B B, or mountains of the moon hotel ( upper range).

Day 4: Continue To Murchison Falls

Stretching from the shores of Lake Albert, Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda's largest National Park. The Nile River flows through the middle of the park creating the impressive Murchison Falls which is the park’s major attraction. The landscape features dense rainforest, undulating savannah and a diversity of abundant wildlife. Visitors can enjoy prime game-viewing along the Buligi Circuit. The forests are home to numerous primates, including Chimpanzees, and near the river, buffalo, elephants and Rothschild-Giraffes can be seen. Other commonly spotted wildlife include: lions, antelope, waterbucks, hippos and crocodiles.

Drive from Fort Portal to Murchison Falls through the Albertine rift valley cross River Nile to stay at Nature Lodges, Fort Murchison.

Day 5: Morning Game Drive

Today is one of those days where sitting still is simply not an option. You’ll rise early and head out for a morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. For 3–4 hours, the park slowly wakes up around you — wildlife on the move, soft morning light, and plenty of photo-worthy moments. Afterwards, you’ll return to the lodge for a relaxed lunch.

In the afternoon, the adventure continues on the water with a boat safari on the Nile. Glide past lounging hippos, watch crocodiles sunbathe on the riverbanks, and soak in the scenery. To top it all off, you’ll hike up to the thunderous top of Murchison Falls — where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge and puts on a seriously impressive show.

Day 6: Track Rhinos And Proceed To Kampala

After breakfast in Murchison, drive to Kampala. Along the way, track rhinos at Ziwa sanctuary, have lunch and then proceed to Kampala.

ZIWA The only place to see wild rhinos in Uganda! Enter the territory of the southern white rhinos on foot. Well-trained rangers will guide you through the bush to where the rhinos are on the day of your visit. You will get the opportunity to watch these endangered, magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. As these rhinos are free to move around on 7 000 hectares of land, it is often necessary to drive to the areas where the rhinos are, before taking the bush trek.  While at the sanctuary you may also encounter a range of other wildlife species including Uganda kobs, oribis, bush bucks, water bucks among others and a number of other bird species. This activity is a once in a lifetime opportunity and should not be missed! Your guide is there to keep you safe from harm so listening to the safety briefing he gives you is very important.
