Day to Day Program

6:00 AM – Departure from Fort Portal city:

Your expedition begins in the early hours of the morning, as your professional safari guide collects you from your hotel in Fort Portal city. With eager anticipation, you embark on a scenic 90-kilometer drive to the Equator, where you’ll delight in a photo shoot and engage in fascinating experiments showcasing the earth’s rotation.

8:00 AM – Game Drive Commences:

Arriving at the park entrance, you’re greeted by sweeping vistas of Lake George, Kikorongo, and a panoramic view of the park’s majestic landscape. After settling the park entrance fees, our exhilarating game drive commences around 8:00 AM. For approximately 2 and a half hours, we traverse the wilderness, tracking the famed “Big Four” – lions, elephants, leopards, and cape buffaloes that call this park home.

10:30 AM – Breakfast around Kazinga channel:

As the morning sun illuminates the savannah, we reach Kasenyi, where a sumptuous breakfast awaits. Amidst the tranquil surroundings, take the opportunity to peruse local crafts, capturing a piece of Uganda’s vibrant culture to cherish forever. The drive continues, offering glimpses of diverse wildlife and the breathtaking landscape of Queen Elizabeth National Park.

1:00 PM – Lunch at Kazinga Channel:

Indulge in a delectable hot lunch at one of the renowned Tourists restaurants along the picturesque Kazinga Channel. Energized and rejuvenated, prepare for the highlight of the day – a mesmerizing boat safari along the Kazinga channel.

2:00 PM – Boat Safari on Kazinga Channel:

Step aboard our boat and embark on a two-hour safari along the renowned Kazinga Channel. As the tranquil waters glide beneath you, prepare to encounter a myriad of wildlife, from majestic hippos and graceful African elephants to elusive Nile monitor lizards and crocodiles. The channel serves as a focal point for game viewing, offering glimpses of land mammals and an array of water birds, including immigrant species from your home country.

4:00 PM – Return to Fort Portal city:

As the sun begins to set on this unforgettable day, we bid farewell to the wonders of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Meet your safari guide driver at the conclusion of the boat trip and embark on the return journey to your next destination, reflecting on the cherished memories and unforgettable moments you’ve experienced.
